A Day of Shopping and Playing

Today was a free day. We've been helping out the Guangzhou economy with a few outings. Eliza is going to have squeaky shoes in many sizes. For those of you who don't know what those are they are shoes with squeakers in the heels so when the baby steps they squeak. So cute!!! Eliza is getting more comfortable with us every day. Today she played with Mommy's lips and shared her hands. She likes to play with her hands and will put them up to my mouth for "kisses". She is quite a cheese ball. No doubt she will fit right in with the rest of the family.

Walking around Shamian Island (this part of Guangzhou)we saw people dressed in wedding dresses getting pictures taken, a cat, and a dog. We also have seen a familiar sight; Starbucks. There are actually quite a few of them in China. This city is beautiful and very tropical. I wish you could all experience it too. A part of our hearts will always be in China.

Toby and Amy,
Thanks for the update! I keep checking hoping for a glimpse of what's happening there. It's amazing that you are so far away, a day ahead of us...yet we can know that it was a blessed day for you! Too cool! I'm so glad to hear about those kisses! She's such a sweetie.....and a little cheese is so important in the best of families! In fact, more cheese is better! Love and Prayers to all of you, -Roxanne
